Nucleating Agent BDP-6
BDP-6 is classified as substituted-aryl phosphate salts nucleating agents , and its outstanding characters include giving PP resins good transparency, stiffness, surface gloss and thermal distortion resistance, and increase the rate of crystallization and shorten cycle time during the molding process. Compared to the traditional DBS nucleating agents, its advantages such as outstanding effects of enhancing transparency at low concentrations, extraction resistance and without odour make it especially applicable to enhance clarity, stiffness and brightness of PP. Meanwhile, it can be employed in engineering plastics such as PET, PBT and nylon to achieve good nucleating effects.
Chemical Composition: mixtures of substituted-aryl phosphate salt and other salts of fatty acid
(similar to ADK Stab NA-21(ADEKA) in the fields of application)
Technical Properties
Appearance: white powder Melting Point: ≥210℃ Moisture Content: ≤1.0% Phosphorous Content: 2.50~3.90% Whiteness(R457) ≥90
Applications & Features
The characters of BDP-6 include enhancing the rigidity and transparency of polyolefins and without odour. The additional level of BDP
–6 is 0.05~0.5% of resin generally, and the recommended dosage range is
0.1-0.3%, and it can be also employed in conjunction with white oil or other appropriate assistant dispersant agents directly in the field of PP or PE
pellets.
Sanitation & Safety
Handle with due care and avoid dust formation and ignition sources.
Package
It is packed in paper box with a lining of plastic sack and its net weight is 10kg. And the customers can also order package according to the demand. Storage
BDP-6 should be kept in a dry and well-ventilated place.
